Who is this masked DJ, and where does he get such wonderfully inspired remix ideas? Telemitry garnered instant praise and respect with his kick-ass remix of Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" a while back, and now he's gone 'n done 'er again: The Telemitry Mercury-mix of Bloc Party's new single, "Mercury," is so far superior to the original track, they may as well just declare it an official remix and be done with it. It's almost like my (sort of) prayers from this past Sunday have been answered. Telemitry has managed to salvage what was--let's face it--a pretty crappy track, and give it new life. Very reminiscent of Phones' (Paul Epworth) remix work; this is a must-have.
