The good folk(s) at Catbird Records are welcoming the debut album by Forest Fire called Survival by giving it away to anyone willing (and smart enough) to give it a listen. You can download the 10 tracks that were recorded over 8 months in studios in New York and Portland via a number of services (iTunes, eMusic, Facebook etc.) and experience these languid, beautiful songs for yourself. Then, if you like what you hear, you can show your love by sending a little cash-money to the label for either the standard CD or the Giant-sized CD version (think compact disc in vinyl record sleeve).
