Thumping beats and brassy licks, that's what Toronto's Woodhands are made of. These synthpop disco mavericks are take-no-prisoners dance rock aficionados who play it hard, dirty, and well into the night.

Dan Werb (vocals, synths, drum machines) and Paul Banwatt are being hotly tipped as a band to watch this year, and if "I Wasn't Made For Fighting" is anything to go by, this duo is ready to step into the rings with all comers. Their album, Heart Attack, is available now through Paper Bag Records.
