Quick, Before It Melts.

It's been almost two years since I started writing this blog, and until just the other day, I hadn't noticed that I was getting pretty close to a milestone of sorts in QBiM's history: the 500th post. That may not seem like a lot, but it works out to be an average of about 1.2 posts per day spilling out of my head since I started. Not bad, I think.

So how to celebrate this event?

First, I get my good friend Tara to work together a kick-ass graphic celebrating the 500th post. I think she did a crackerjack job, don't you?

The next thing is to figure out what the heck I'm going to post, music-wise. Do I pick a theme, like finding as many songs that reference 500 as I can? The only one I can think of is "500 Miles" by The Proclaimers, and I'll be damned if that's going to end up here.

Then I figured that since it's kind of like a major milestone, that maybe it would be worth going back through the archives and revisiting some of my favourite (and hopefully yours, too) songs from the past 500 posts!
