It's been a hectic week at QBiM headquarters, but we'll be back to our regular posting schedule soon. In the meantime, here's 3 nuggets from our inbox and the blogosphere for you to enjoy this fine Friday.

Hot Hot Heat and a new new video from their album Happiness Ltd. I haven't heard the album at all yet, but it's on my list of ones to check out. Here's "Harmonicas & Tambourines".



Matt from Skatterbrain has put up his truly awesome list of Top 15 of 2007, officially launching list season in the blogosphere. Matt's musical taste and pop sensibility cannot be matched, and I consider him one of the inspirations for QBiM, and the ultimate source for all that is twee. he's also got one of the sharpest senses of humour I've ever had the pleasure of reading. And here's a sneak peak into my own year-end list: One of the tracks Matt has posted will appear on my year end list, too!

And possibly making an early run for the year-end 2008 list is The Magnetic Fields! Mid-January will see the release of the new album, Distortion. I thought you might like a small taste early on:
