Some people (like me) are a little anal-retentive. Some people (like The Buddyrevelles) are out-and-out obsessives. How else to you explain the 7 year gestation period it took between their last album (American Matador) and their latest release, Don't Quit? Sure there have been longer, more highly anticipated waits, but the results never seem to warrant the listener's patience.
The Buddyrevelles paid back in full with Don't Quit. They certainly took the album's title to heart, and have poured themselves into amassing peerless indie pop gems, and then stringing them together into a tight 32 minutes that never fails to please.
