Hello, Ruby Isle

What does it tell you when a song that hasn't yet been released physically (just digitally) has already been covered? Ruby Isle posted this on Kindercore's blog pages just a few days ago:

Last Friday, Ruby Isle was in the middle of recording our new record and were looking for some inspiration so we decided to take whatever track was number one on elbo.ws and cover it. It turned out it was a song by Hello, Blue Roses called Shadow Falls.
Faithful QBiM readers will remember that last week we featured Hello, Blue Roses here, a band that features prolific songwriter Dan Bejar (Destroyer, New Pornographers) and Syndey Vermont. In fact, you can still get that song here.

Way back when, we posted on Ruby Isle, too. You can see that here.
