Quick, Before It Melts.

You can overdose on too much of a good thing, but when that good thing is the down-home goodness and sweet songwriting talent of Toronto's Andy Swan, there are no negative side effects.

Swan, who does double duty as a member of Toronto's The Michael Parks, releases Ottawa, a collection of decidedly country tunes recorded in the titular city late last year. If you're looking for an antidote to all the over-produced, over-hyped next-not-so-big-things ramping up to get their releases in before year's end, then jump on the bandwagon zooming up the Trans-Canada highway heading straight for Ottawa's fresh sounds.
