Just a little over the top, please: Lucky Soul are ready for a closeup (photo: Libi Pedder)
London's Lucky Soul starts life in 2004, and have turned their love of Motown and St Etienne into fresh sounding modern pop. Their debut, The Great Unwanted, came out earlier this year on the band's own Ruffa Lane Records label. Don't let your initial reaction fool you--Lucky Soul are no Pipettes. They're authentic pop practitioners who are gimmick free in their sincerity. You'll be utterly smitten with "Lips Are Unhappy" I guarantee it.
