Quick, Before It Melts.

Sisters Bianca and Sierra Casady are CocoRosie; and some people go cuckoo for CocoRosie. I never really understood why, but after listening to today's track, I'm beginning to see some of the appeal.

It's pretty, and yet still odd, with flourishes of virtuosity and talent intermingled with head-scratch inducing choices and incoherent ideas. It's not at all off-putting, yet holds itself at a distance making it almost unapproachable. You're intrigued, your fascinated, you've heard the rumours and the jokes and teasing, and you're curious to find out if there's any substance and truth to them yourself.

In other words, CocoRoise is the musical equivalent of Sandra Bullock.
