Yeah, I've been a sucker for jangle-pop ever since I first heard Johnny Marr strum a guitar. You'd think that it would be an easy genre to master, as opposed to something a bit more complex, like baroque, but there's very few artists out there that can get it to sound just right. Just enough sugar sweet guitar chords, the right dash of keyboard trills, and a heaping spoonful of brilliant ideas that don't over-crowd the song; it's allowed to breath and just be. The Changes have got the recipe right. Look for a full length on Drama Club soon, buy the EP now, and have an extra helping. You'll have to brush your teeth after "On A String," I guarantee it.
